Today we had our first group Zoom Social Call. We’re really sad that the ISME Conferences have been cancelled in July due to Covid-19, and therefore so has our trip. Instead we wanted to get as many members of Universal Orchestra together for a Social meet up to bounce around some ideas to see if we can still be creative while all in our separate places, and some still in Lockdown.
It was great to see everyone, and so good to hear shared stories of our wonderful trip to Tromsø in September, as well as hearing what people had been up to since then. It is clear that there have been some strong friendships made within this group, and we all agreed on how we can’t wait to be together again.
We’re planning another social meet up in a couple of weeks to decide what we’d like to do musically… watch this space…
Below you can see a video of our trip up the cable car in Tromsø last September. It was our first social outing as a full group, and such a magical day for everyone. The video is accompanied by the orchestra playing “Ivguvuotna”.
